Founded in 1966, BAUDAT GmbH & Co. KG has stood for the production of sophisticated tools for more than 44 years.

According to our company motto “Quality in your hand!” our 65 employees produce high quality tools at our long- established location in the south of Germany. In 1970 we started with the production of cable cutters, and around 15 years later we developed wire rope cutters.

Our range includes single handed cable and wire rope cutters with ratchet mechanisms and pivoting or open jaws. For two handed use we offer our leverage cutters. We also have heavy duty cutters incorporating a combination of ratchet and leverage mechanisms.  For larger diameters we offer hydraulic cable and wire rope cutters.

We produce furthermore sophisticated bolt cutter which are used in the prestressed concrete industry.

More recently we have expanded our product range with steel panel punches, which can be used with hand or foot hydraulic pumps. For larger diameters or for permanent operation we have battery or electric motor powered pumps. Our hydraulic pumps can also be used for various other applications.

We develop special tools for a number of major companies in the sanitary, telecommunication, power supply networks and automotive industry, many of which are custom made to provide particular client solutions. In these cases we are the customer’s “extended workbench“ and by this means we aim to build long-lasting and successful cooperation with our clients.

Our principal resources are self-trained craftsmen and the technical know-how of our engineering department. Combined with our highly flexible manufacturing and marketing these resources achieve high quality solutions and products, which are the key to our customer relations, and therefore to our own success.
